St. Mark’s Diabetes Center
Diabetes is a chronic disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone your body produces which helps sugars move from the bloodstream into the body's cells. If untreated, the sugar that builds up in your bloodstream can eventually damage your heart, eyes, kidneys and blood vessels.
St. Mark’s Diabetes Center is a certified provider of Diabetes Self-Management Training (DSMT), accredited by the American Diabetes Association and Utah State Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.
We offer inpatient and outpatient care, as well as individual counseling to make sure that all of your needs are met and to help you to live a longer, fuller life.
