Help St. Mark’s Start Utah’s First Mended Hearts Chapter
What is Mended Hearts?
Mended Hearts is a national organization whose mission is "to inspire hope in heart disease patients and their families." They have been pursuing this mission for the last 60 years, developing more than 300 chapters across the country. They offer visiting programs, support group meetings, and educational forums -- all directed at heart disease patients.
Why is St. Mark’s starting a chapter?
At St. Mark’s, we are constantly striving to provide the best possible patient care. We recognize that the Mended Hearts organization gives us another opportunity to do this. Even with the organization’s hundreds of existing chapters, there are currently none in the state of Utah. And we’d like to change that. Chapters typically consist of former heart disease patients and their family members.
