St. Mark's Hospital - November 01, 2016

The new thromboelastogram (TEG) device has been implemented in the blood bank. This device allows for more comprehensive assessment of the etiology of coagulation abnormalities and sends results to iPhones and iPads. Training for physician users will begin during the first week of December, including trauma, cardiovascular surgery, anesthesiology, perfusionists, and other surgical specialists who wish to be trained. If you are interested in receiving training, please contact Shelly Arnold, director of trauma services at (701) 400-8012.
