Rehabilitation Services recently launched the Women’s Physical Therapy program as a new outpatient physical therapy clinic for pelvic floor rehabilitation. This program is focused on helping the 50% of women who will experience incontinence at some point in their lives. With proper pelvic floor strengthening, 85% of patients resolve their incontinence. This clinic specializes in addressing impairment and pain in the pelvic floor, including incontinence of the bladder and bowel, organ prolapse, pregnancy and recovery, and pelvic pain.
