As a cornerstone of our thriving community, St. Mark’s offers invaluable expertise gained from delivering exceptional patient care since 1872. Our hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our 317 licensed beds and is the only hospital in Utah listed among the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals nationwide (Truven Analytics 2015). We are proud to hold five-star HealthGrade ratings for 2018 in total knee replacement, total hip replacement, sepsis, treatment of respiratory failure, colorectal surgery and small intestine surgery and are named among America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention™ two years in a row (Healthgrades 2017 & 2018). St. Mark's Hospital was recently awarded an 'A' for Patient Safety, the highest grade possible from The Leapfrog Group, a national hospital safety watchdog organization.
Epic® was implemented as our integrated electronic medical record in February 2013 to enhance our clinical excellence and medical innovation.
Pharmacists at St. Mark’s provide patient-centered care through effective drug therapy management by working in collaboration with the entire health-care team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
