Specialized Care for our Smallest Patients
Ask the mothers whose babies were born too early or seriously ill; they’ll tell you how much they depended on the experienced caregivers in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In fact, a strong bond often develops between our team, new mothers and their babies that is evident when they are still coming into visit years later.
Neonatologists are doctors who specialize in caring for infants that are born too early or with medical complications. It is reassuring to know that should your newborn need specialized care, our board-certified team of neonatology physicians is available 24 hours a day.
Beyond neonatologists, our NICU is staffed with nurses who monitor our baby patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our NICU staff will welcome you whenever you come to visit your baby – or babies! We will gladly answer your questions and discuss you baby’s care with you and your physician.
